泥水平衡岩石顶管机应用于市政管道（污水管、供水管、供电电缆管、通信电缆管、天然气管等）的建设，管材通常为砼管、钢管，可以适应在含有卵石、砾石、岩石等复杂地质条件下施工，适用直线或曲线顶进距离100m-1000m。采用泥水平衡方式完成岩石破碎、推进、连续排渣等作业，完成管道安全、高效、高质量非开挖铺设，可以较好地控制地面沉降。
